His soulful voice and impeccable songwriting skills have captivated audiences from around the world. He was a contributor to The HuffPost from 2015 until 2018 and wrote a column on Music in the Arts and Culture section.

For 35 years he was one-half of the Grammy-nominated musical comedy team The Battersby Duo. They performed music for children in schools, theatres, and festivals. They appeared on Sesame Street and The Today Show, and in 2010 Tim and his wife Laura were awarded a Grammy Nomination for their Children’s album Sunny Days. Tim lives with his wife on the west coast of Florida. They performed for President Clinton at The White House six times and have also appeared at The Kennedy Center, The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee, the Times Union Center in Jacksonville FL, The Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Savannah Georgia, and The Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. They have a daughter, a son-in-law 4 Grandchildren, and one Great Granddaughter.
