THE AUTHORITARIAN, A REVIEW

The Authoritarian’ was also commended strongly for your ability to craft a profoundly interesting thriller with the very prescient themes of fascism, political maneuvering, and the lack of transparency in modern political life. Our point of view shifts from the hunter to the hunted, as the exploits of an ex-Nazi on the run from justice in America spiral into a mystery that goes all the way to the highest levels of government, suggesting something much more insidious than false platitudes and corruption, yet still based on real-world anxieties and events that are felt will help draw any reader into this world. The dialogue and characterization of the players in this story were noted as credible, helping to ground some of the fantastical elements. For these reasons, they are believed to be well-received and worthy additions to our publication lists.

THE IMPOSTER A REVIEW

The Imposter had an unmistakable proficiency in its usage of setting and description to promote a certain atmosphere of paranoia that allowed a reader to become invested in your thrilling plot. Matthew’s world being turned upside down by something as casual as seeing a single photo that forces him to reconsider his and his father’s entire life, was a well-chosen plot device. Making the discovery one so core to family and the assumption of normalcy we all might feel when growing up helped us to sympathize and engage with the emotional center of this journey. Similar in style and tone, yet wholly original again,
